蘇州園林

蘇州是中國著名的"園林城市(city of gardens)",在園林數量和藝術性上都遠勝于其他城市。蘇州的因林藝術有1500年的歷史。14世紀到20世紀之間的明淸時期是其園林建筑的貨金時期。這座城市里曾經有超過200家私人園林。它們中的一些今天仍然保存良好。這些園林的獨特魅力使它們在1997年被列人世界文化遺產名錄(the list of World Cultural Heritage)。
